In 2016, Cartier launched its new men's fragrance L'Envol, inspired by the honey-sweet wine Ambrosia, known as the nectar of the gods. L'Envol has a strong yet soft scent at the same time. The fragrance opens with notes of Artemisia dracunculus, lavender, and sage, transitioning to a heart of pepper and violet leaf. The base is formed by notes of amberwood, cedar, patchouli, guaiac wood, musk, iris, honey, and vetiver. Mathilde Laurent is the nose behind this perfume.
